Booster Pumps:
Used to increase water pressure and/or flow. Booster pumps can be installed off a storage tank with no inlet pressure or on the house line if pressure at the house is low. For more information see
Booster Pumps.
Chlorine Injection Pumps: Government regulation requires certain levels of chlorine to be present in some water systems, or you may choose to have one installed for your own health reasons. In some cases well water that tests consistently positive for the presence of bacteria can be corrected with a chlorine injection system. These pumps can be adjusted to inject a specified dose of chlorine or soda ash into the water.
Control Boxes: We stock Franklin and Grundfos control boxes from ½ HP to 5 HP. Control box components such as capacitors and relays are also available. If you have another brand, we can get that for you too.
Cycle Stop Valves: A kind of constant pressure valve that controls the outflow by reducing the gallons per minute pumped at a desired pressure. An example of their usefulness is on an irrigation system. The Cycle Stop Valve keeps the pump from turning on and off during watering. See
Constant Pressure Systems for more information.
Filters: There are many different kinds of filter cartridges and bag filters that are mainly used for sifting out sediment ranging from 1 micron (finest pores blocking more sediment) to 30 micron (larger pores blocking only larger pieces). We also sell filter wrenches and other parts. See
Water Treatment/Filtration for more information.
Flow Meters: Can be installed at the well head or on individual house lines to tell you how much water is being used. They are especially useful on shared well systems and community systems when you need to divide water use costs. Flow meters are included in all Water Right water conditioning units.
Flow Restrictor: Dole Valves reduce the outflow to prevent a pump from drawing too much water so quickly that the well does not replenish the supply before the pump pumps it dry. If a pump is trying to pull water that is not there, it can be seriously damaged. We can perform a flow test on your well and pump to see if a dole valve is right for you.
Frost Proof Hydrants: Are valves that can be installed in place of the hose bibs that you would normally have to shut down and drain to prevent freezing and cracking. They allow water use from that location through winter freezing months. The hydrant prevents freezing and cracking by allowing the water to drain from the stand pipe. The handle must be closed and all hoses removed to allow the water to drain.
